During the week of January 7th, 2025, Pacific Palisades, Malibu, and Alta Dena, 3 of the most scenic and vibrant communities in Los Angeles, were reduced to rubble by raging wildfires.  Left behind are burned-out shells containing toxic waste.  Dwellings still standing and the land surrounding them have been critically affected by ash, smoke, and debris containing poisonous chemicals that have saturated the ground. In addition, these toxic chemicals are being carried out to sea by rainstorms and severely pollute Santa Monica Bay.
